The goal of the project
Design a website for Buzz Elektro – provider of industrial and commercial electrical services in Berlin.
Business goals:
- showcase relevant services for both private and corporate clients
- attract new clients online
- improve service for existing clients
- stand out to attract big corporate clients
My process
I used the double diamond design thinking process framework while working on this project to make sure the website is solving the right problems in the right way.

Competitors analysis
Through analyzing 4 competitors detected the common patterns on the market – points of parity and points of difference. This helped me to prioritise certain content blocks that are expected to be on the website and those that can help the service to stand out from competitors.
Users’ reviews analysis
To get the understanding of target audience needs, goals and pain points even though there was no budget dedicated to user research, I’ve analyzed around 100 of the Buzz Elektro google reviews.
Mind map
Once it became clear what users goals are and what are the key business needs, I’ve mapped the website structure and agreed it with clients.
Wireframes
Based on the insights I’ve got from the initial research and stakeholders interview, I’ve created wireframes and then turned them into a clickable prototype to ensure all required content blocks are there.
Moodboard
Clients already had the logo. I used it as a starting point at the UI explorations. To inform the visual direction of UI I’ve:
✅ Collected visual moodboard
✅ Defined words describing the brand:
Modern, techy, electricity, corporate, official, nature-friendly, clean, light, well-structured
UI Style guide
To carry the modern, techy and light brand voice through visuals I’ve:
✅ Defined colour palette
✅ Picked fonts combination
UI Design
Projects catalog allows clients to get familiar with the process, understand the average cost of different projects types, find out other details about the materials, etc. Helps the service to stand out among the competitors and get big corporate clients.
